Spring/Salad Onion White Lisbon is an excellent salad onion that is relatively low maintenance and not only suited to overwintering producing early crops but good for successional spring/summer cropping too (sow at 3 weekly intervals).

Salad Onion White Lisbon is very quick growing and produces the classic bulb type salad onion great for adding flavour to salads.

Salad Onion White Lisbon Vegetable Seed Information

Seed Quantity: Approx 600 seeds per pack.
Site:
Prefers well drained freshly prepared soil.
When to Sow:
March to October (Autumn sowings August to October).
How to Sow:
Sow seeds thinly in a pre-watered drill - 1.5cm deep. Rows should be 10cm apart. The seedlings will appear in 14-21 days.
Care:
No thinning required just take care when weeding not to disturb the shallow roots. Added protection with a cloche will be required for autumn sown crops to see them through the winter.
Harvest: Spring/Summer: 6-8 weeks after sowing. Autumn: March to April.
