Radish Watermelon Seeds
Radish Watermelon is a Chinese heritage Radish with a surprise...the lovely smooth white globes are cut open to reveal bright pink centres - no surprise they are also known as "Beauty in the Heart". The flavour is milder than other radishes - sweeter, less spicy. Thin slices look really amazing on a salad.
Radishes don't need much space and are great used to intercrop between other veg that takes longer to mature such as sweetcorn, beans, peas etc. Small amounts of successional sowings throughout spring & summer will give a regular crop and mean that they are eaten at their best.
Radishes become woody if left in the ground too long. Great for cropping in containers too!
